Bantam B wins one of three
The Jamestown-Valley City Prowl Bantam B hockey team went 1-2 Jan. 5 and 6, highlighted by a 10-0 win over the Minot Wolves Bantam Maroon.
The Jamestown-Valley City Prowl Bantam B hockey team went 1-2 Jan. 5 and 6, highlighted by a 10-0 win over the Minot Wolves Bantam Maroon.
Braden Sherfy, Logan Brouse and Jaryn Stading each scored two goals in the win. Dylan Myers, Ram Rhoad and Donovan Ask also tallied. Eric Wells (2), Conner Gasal, Hunter Beckman, Colton Altringer, Stading and Sherfy got assists. Nicole Mayland stopped 12 shots for the shutout.
The Prowl lost to the Mandan Braves Bantam B twice, 8-2 and 5-3.
In the opener, Brandon Miller and Beckman scored. Miller and Stading were credited with assists. Mayland turned away 23 shots in goal.
In Game 2, Stading earned a hat trick. Myers got one assist. Mayland stopped 18 shots.
