Blue Jays fall out of rankings
The Jamestown High School girls basketball dropped out of the Class A state media poll with a loss at Bismarck Century on Tuesday night.
The Jamestown High School girls basketball dropped out of the Class A state media poll with a loss at Bismarck Century on Tuesday night.
However, the Blue Jays (5-2) still received a vote, which puts them sixth in the state. Century moved ahead of Fargo Shanley in the poll to the top spot, receiving three first-place votes. Shanley was second with four first-place votes, while West Fargo, Bismarck High and Fargo North rounded out the poll. Bismarck High garnered a pair of first-place votes.
Grand Forks Red River stayed atop the boys poll, receiving eight of nine first-place votes. Minot was second, followed by Fargo Shanley, Bismarck St. Mary’s and Bismarck Century, respectively. St. Mary’s received the other first-place vote.
The Blue Jays are off until Tuesday, when they travel to Bismarck St. Mary’s for a doubleheader.
