JRCC recognizes Middlestead

Office assistant Marlane Middlestead was chosen as employee of the month for December at the James River Correctional Center.

Middlestead’s primary duty is to process all incoming and outgoing mail, a key job as it pertains to the finding of contraband and security risks, her supervisors said.

Middlestead received the award due to her work ethic, diligence, attitude and contributions to the JRCC.
