Rasmussen finishes help JHS to fifth place

The Blue Jays scored 233 points, well behind meet-winner Minot, which posted 587 points. Century (537), Grand Forks (328) and Mandan (269) followed, respectively.

Rasmussen took second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 54.48 seconds. He also finished second in the 500 freestyle with 5:23.08. Braydon Love placed in both events, taking fourth in the 200 freestyle and sixth in the 500 freestyle.

Jamestown’s 400 freestyle relay finished third with a 3:37.25, while the 200 freestyle relay team swam a 1:40.79 for fourth place. Rounding out the placers was Riley Thom, who scored 320.25 points to take fourth in diving. The Blue Jays host Williston in a dual on Friday. On Saturday, Jamestown will host a meet. The last item on Jamestown’s home schedule follows on Feb. 5, with a triangular against Moorhead (Minn.) and Fargo South.
