Carrington fifth, MV fourth in latest ‘B’ poll

The Cardinals, who are 12-0, received 81 points as the top five went unchanged. Beulah, North Star, Dickinson Trinity and Rugby hold the spots in front of Carrington, respectively, with Beulah receiving all 13 first-place votes.
LaMoure-Litchville-Marion and Maple Valley both received votes.
In the girls poll, Maple Valley moved up from sixth to fourth, receiving 79 votes. Minot Ryan received all 13 first-place votes and is followed by Grafton and New Town, respectively.
Napoleon dropped from third to fifth with 62 votes after a loss to Midkota in the Stutsman County Tournament championship game in Jamestown on Jan. 14. Midkota received votes in the poll.
