Heather Castle of Graham, Wash., Nicole LaDouceur of Grand Forks and Jamestown’s Carly Nelson have signed with the Jimmie women’s soccer team.

Castle, a forward/midfielder, played club soccer and was a team captain at Graham-Kapowsin High School. She is the daughter of Joe and Caroline Castle and plans to study physical education.

“Heather brings great experience and knowledge of the game,” said JC coach Nick Becker. “We are happy to have her and I think she will be a great fit for Jamestown College.”

LaDouceur is all-conference goalie from Grand Forks Red River High School. She is the daughter of Greg and Traci LaDouceur and plans to study psychology or criminal justice.

“Nicole is a great addition to next year’s squad,” Becker said. “She is an athletic keeper who understands the game well. She is a player who will give 100 percent effort in the classroom and on the field.”

Nelson, a former defender for the Blue Jays, is the daughter of David and Sheila Nelson.

“I am excited to have Carly join the team,” Becker said. “She is a defensive-minded player, who is going to work hard for us.”
