Bantam A team sweeps pair
The Jamestown-Valley City Bantam A hockey team racked up 15 goals in 8-7 and 7-1 wins over West Fargo Green and Fargo Freeze Silver last weekend.
The Jamestown-Valley City Bantam A hockey team racked up 15 goals in 8-7 and 7-1 wins over West Fargo Green and Fargo Freeze Silver last weekend.
In the opener, Seth Lind, Hunter Best and Kobe Donovan each scored two goals. Dawson Dietrich and Nick Muncy tallied once each. Muncy (3), Connor Grosgebauer (3), Lind and Donovan got assists. Zach Hanson stopped 18 shots in goal.
On Sunday JVC got a 5-goal game from Lind in beating Freeze Silver. Muncy and Best capped the scoring. Alex Gums, Levi Donegan-Wahl, Grosgebauer, Muncy and Chris Hare got assists. Zach Hanson topped 24 shots.
The team is coached by Dan Kunz and Don Walz.
