Nine guests along with members enjoyed the movie, “The Falun-Roros Expedition: A Historic Journey with Horse and Sled,” about a group of Swedes who re-enacted 1,000 years of historic travels with horse-drawn sled teams from their homeland to a Norwegian town to transport and trade goods then returned with vital food. Everyone was treated to popcorn, pop and movie-style candy with Karen and Chuck Freeman and Deb Gletne hosting.
Sons of Norway meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at Ave Maria Village. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call Linda Mohn at 252-8495.
