Thompson athlete signs with Jimmies
Jessica Wyatt of Thompson, N.D., has signed with the Jimmie track and field team.
Jessica Wyatt of Thompson, N.D., has signed with the Jimmie track and field team.
Wyatt, who has PRs of 17.1 in the 100 hurdles, 110 in the javelin and 14-0 in the long jump, could be a potential multi-eventer.
“Jessica is a nice person and she will be a positive addition to our team. I believe Jessica thinks of herself as a hurdler, but she obviously has other talents as well,” said JC women’s coach Jim Clark. “I think Jamestown will be a good fit for her as a student and as an athlete. I look forward to Jessica becoming a Jimmie.”
Wyatt is the daughter of Liz Welsh. She plans to study education at JC.
