The Jamestown College men’s basketball program has signed Cody Martinez of Custer, S.D., and Logan Wasson of Gillette, Wyo., announced on Wednesday.
Martinez is a 5-foot-11 guard averaging 15 points and six assists at Custer High School.
“Cody has a fantastic ability to shoot the ball, which is something we are really looking for in this recruiting class,” Wieck said in a press release. “He has been out with a wrist injury since mid-December, but I know he will be back very soon to help lead his high school team this year. He comes from a great family and high school program.”
Wasson is a 6-1 guard.
“Logan is a high-level shooting guard who has been coached in a very successful high school program,” Wieck says. “He knows how to play the game on both ends of the floor and will bring a great shooting presence to our program from day one. He has a college-ready body and we’re looking forward to him joining us this fall.”
