Farmers to meet about crop outlook

Diversified Crop Insurance Services, along with Bickett Insurance, will be co-sponsoring a farmer meeting starting at 10 a.m. Jan. 30 at the Chieftan Conference Center in Carrington, N.D.

Lunch will be served. There is no charge for this event.

Rich Morrison, risk management analyst for Diversified Services, will be one of the expert speakers for those in attendance. Morrison grew up on a grain farm in east-central Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois. He provides information for farmers and agents via the following marketing tools: daily emails, phone calls, text messages and monthly meetings via webinar for customers all over the country. Morrison also provides market information on WLDS radio.

Area farmers and those interested in agriculture are invited to attend and listen to Morrison and other expert speakers discuss what the outlook is for area crops in 2013. Space is limited. Contact the agency office at 701-652-1775 to secure a reservation.
