BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck officials have slated a meeting to talk about the city's curbside recycling proposal.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck officials have slated a meeting to talk about the city's curbside recycling proposal.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/XFxZtc ) that the meeting is slated Thursday night at the City/County Building

The city wants to charge each private home owner $3.51 per month to pick up recycled materials. Apartment dwellers would be charged $3.

The city wants to start a curbside recycling program to lengthen the life of the city's landfill by keeping materials that can be recycled out of the landfill.
