Conlon places 13th at UW meet
Katie Conlon placed 13th in the 3,000-meter run at a large meet at the University of Washington on Saturday.

Conlon, a senior on the University of Oregon track team, ran in the first heat and easily won in a time of 9:27.27, beating her previous best by nearly 15 seconds, 9:42.25.
The meet featured many of the top Division I runners in the country.
Conlon holds the Jamestown College record in the 3,000 of 9:51.36.
