Once-beaten Benson County improved to 10-1 with a 45-32 win over New Rockford-Sheyenne Monday night in Class B girls basketball action.
The Rockets hung with the Wildcats for three quarters, it was tied 25-all after three, but Benson County won the fourth 20-7.
Katelynn Engh topped the Wildcats with 13 points.
The Rockets (5-7) were led by Lacey Grann’s 13-point affair before she fouled out.

The Maple Valley Raiders improved to 10-2 with a 67-50 victory over the North Sargent Bobcats in Gwinner on Saturday.
The Raiders are currently receiving votes in the state Class B boys basketball poll.
Jordan Haseleu tossed in a game-high 22 points to lead the Raiders to victory.
The Bobcats were paced by Zack Drevlow and Dawson Peterson with 16 points each.

The Rebels scored 22 first-quarter points and never looked back. Wyatt Guthmiller added 14 points in the win. J.R. Perleberg had 10.
Austin Monson led four Mustangs in double figures with 13 points. Christian Leininger and Dakota Hoyt contributed 11 and Dalton Ehlers had 10.
