SCARTA card party plans discussed
The Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association met on Jan. 22 to finalize plans for the Feb. 3 Community Card Party to be held at the James River Senior and Community Center. A light lunch of sandwiches, bars and coffee will be served by SCARTA members. Proceeds from the card party will go toward a scholarship fund.

The guest speaker for the January meeting was Ole Olson from the KSJB radio station. He spoke to the group on the training he received at the Brown Institute in Minneapolis and what a day is like in the life of a radio personality.
