Jimmies, Vikings meet today in Valley City

The Jamestown College basketball teams head to Valley City State today, starting with the women’s game at 5:30 p.m.

The 14th-ranked JC women bring a 19-4 record into the contest against the 24th-ranked Vikings, who boast an 18-4 mark.

The Jimmie men (11-13) will follow the game against 22nd-ranked VCSU, which has a record of 17-5. However, one of those losses came to the Jimmies in the championship game of the Dakota Tip-Off Classic just more than a week ago. The contest will mark the 10th game the Jimmies have played against a ranked opponent this season.

Following tonight’s games, Jamestown College will head to Dakota State for a doubleheader on Saturday before coming back home for another clash with Valley City State, which is set for a week from today at the Civic Center.
