GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A former Grand Forks police officer accused of holding an unloaded gun to another man's head during a party has pleaded not guilty to terrorizing.

Authorities allege that 27-year-old Jace Prelip invited several people to his apartment after they had been at a bar last Aug. 29, and during the party held the handgun against the head of another man.

Prelip resigned from the police force a few days after the alleged incident. The Grand Forks Herald reports that he faces at least two years in prison if convicted.
