No one was injured in a Wednesday car accident that caused an estimated $9,000 in damage, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of U.S. Highway 281 S.
Todd Schock, 31, 1506 Sixth Ave. SW #7, was driving 2008 Chrysler northbound on the 1700 block of U.S. 281 South.
Schock sideswiped Charmine Jacobs, 58, 1510 14th St. SW, driving a 2000 Ford, who was coming to a stop in the left lane of U.S. 281 S.
No injuries were reported and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
There was an estimated $5,000 in damage to the Chrysler and $4,000 in estimated damage to the Ford.
Schock was issued a citation for drove while operator’s license was suspended. Angel James, 1506 Sixth Ave. SW #7, owner of the Chrysler, was issued a citation for permitted vehicle to be operated with no liability insurance.
