The Jamestown Sun hands out these bravos this week:

* Bravo to all the donors who together have contributed $9,000 to help the families of the six men killed in a Dec. 26 crash on Interstate 94 in west Jamestown. The funds are helping pay the expenses of returning the victims’ remains to their families. Additional donations for the Jamestown Accident Victims Funeral Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank.

* Bravo to all the winners of the 2012 Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce awards. Lyman and Corey Keim and Bison 6 Cinema received the Business of the Year award, Fran Romsdahl was named Citizen of the Year and Corey and Jodi Bayer received the Above and Beyond Award.

* Bravo to the Daily Bread program at Ave Maria Village, which saves unserved surplus meals and saves them to give to hungry people in Jamestown.

* Bravo to forecasts that the Red River and its tributaries, including the Sheyenne River, have very slim chances of flooding this spring.
