JVC Bantam A goes unbeaten

The Jamestown-Valley City Bantam A hockey team went 3-0 last weekend. JVC opened with a 7-1 win over Grafton-Park River as Kelton Beedy and Nick Muncy each scored twice. Chris Hare, Gage Thompson and Connor Grosgebauer rounded out the scoring. Assists went to Beedy 2), Dawson Dietrich, Hunter Best and Seth Lind. Zach Hanson stopped all but one of the 21 shots he faced.

Hanson followed with a 31-save effort in a 4-3 win over the Grand Forks Raiders. Scoring was spread out by Thompson, Muncy, Lind and Grosgebauer. Beedy (2), Hare and Koby Donovan notched assists.

JVC finished up unbeaten with an 8-1 rout of the Grand Forks Riverkings, getting a hat trick from Lind and two tallies from Hunter Best. Muncy, Dietrich and Alex Gums also scored. Lind (4), Best (2), Gums (2), Hare, Beedy, Donovan and Grosgebauer got assists. Hanson turned away 25 shots.
