Class B rounup: Rockets win on the road

New Rockford-Sheyenne picked up a win in Class B girls basketball on Monday, taking down Four Winds-Minnewaukan 75-53 at Four Winds. The Rockets’ Lexi Weber (17 points), Lacey Grann (16), Renelle Allmaras (12) and Rachel Hermanson (10) all hit double figures in the game. The Rockets led by 10 points (42-32) at the half, and were efficient at the free-throw line converting 12 of 15 freebies in the contest.

New Rockford-Sheyenne picked up a win in Class B girls basketball on Monday, taking down Four Winds-Minnewaukan 75-53 at Four Winds.

The Rockets’ Lexi Weber (17 points), Lacey Grann (16), Renelle Allmaras (12) and Rachel Hermanson (10) all hit double figures in the game. The Rockets led by 10 points (42-32) at the half, and were efficient at the free-throw line converting 12 of 15 freebies in the contest.

Dawn Black led the way for the Indians scoring 15 points.

A balanced scoring attack, led by Noelle Moser’s 12 points, helped to lift the Firebirds over the visiting Rebels in Medina.

The Firebirds led by seven points at the end of both the second and third quarter, before coasting to the 10-point victory. Madi Moldenhauer tossed in 8 points and Brooke Krapp and Jaycee Moldenhauer each scored 7 for the winning team.

The Rebels were led by Olivia Anderson’s game-high 17 points.

Callie Harding (4) and cousin Saddie Harding (2) combined for six 3-pointers, helping the Mustangs take down the Hornets by 13 in Glenfield.

Saddie finished the game with 14 points, while Callie ended the night scoring 13. The Hornets were led by Haley Fornshell with 13.
