Jamestown College baseball coach Tom Hager has landed another West Fargo product.

Kory Wolden, who helped the Packers and Patriots Legion team to state championships last season, has signed with the Jimmies.

Wolden, a right-handed hitting outfielder, hit .355 with 21 RBIs and 17 stolen bases for the Packers last season. He also was a big contributor on the mound, going 3-1 with a 1.33 ERA in 21 innings.

He joins current West Fargo natives Andy Young and Landon Uetz on the JC roster. Jeremy Newman, a West Fargo Legion assistant coach, also has returned to his alma mater on the JC coaching staff.

“We believe Kory will fit in very well here at Jamestown College,” Hager said. “He comes from two very successful baseball programs and he also gets it done in the classroom.

“Kory is a quality student-athlete and we are excited about his potential.”

He is the son of Randy and Vickie Wolden.
