Ash Wednesday service at UPC

Ash Wednesday service with the imposition of ashes will be offered Wednesday at the United Presbyterian Church. The service will begin with a soup dinner served by the youth group at 5:30 p.m. followed by the service at 6 p.m.

There will be a free will offering for the meal with donations to go to youth mission work.

This service begins a series of soup and Lenten discussions to be held each Wednesday during Lent with a soup dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by the study series “An Apostle’s Creed” by Crossway International Study.

A five-week Lent event for children (ages kindergarten to fifth grade) will be held on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10:10 a.m. beginning on Feb. 17 and ending March 17. This event is called “Now We Can Celebrate Passover.”
