Ash Wednesday starts at Immanuel

Ash Wednesday worship services, the beginning of Lent, will be observed Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1403 Ninth Ave. SE.

Holy Communion will be celebrated at 6:45 p.m., as well as the symbolic imposition of ashes.

Assistant Wendell Kopperud will lead this service into the Lenten journey.
