Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Special events

“Understanding Memory Loss” class on caregiving and memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, noon to 1 p.m., Alfred Dickey Library, 105 Third St. SE.

The Varying Degrees Trio Percussion Ensemble, 7:30 p.m., DeNault Auditorium, Reiland Fine Arts Center. No admission charge.

Screening of documentary “Gasland”, 7 p.m., L2 of the Nafus Student Center. Admission is free. A discussion led by Dr. Margi Coyle, assistant professor of biology, will follow.

Public meetings

Jamestown Planning Commission, 8 a.m., City Hall, 102 Third Ave. SE.
