Charles J. Fischer

Long Lake, SD-Funeral service for Charles J. Fischer, 79, of Long Lake will be 11:02 am, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley. Pastor Sara Sorensen will officiate.

Burial will be at Salem Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6 pm. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Charles died February 7, 2013 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.

Charles is survived by his wife, Lucy; one son, John, of Long Lake, and one daughter, Kristi (Kip) Wagner of Whitewood, SD; four grandchildren, Magdelenda “Bea” Fischer, Victor Fischer, Katherine “Katie” Wagner, and Kevin Wagner.

His parents and one brother, Walter preceded him in death.
