JC accounting students offering volunteer tax services
Jamestown College accounting students are again offering the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program for low-income and elderly taxpayers.
Jamestown College accounting students are again offering the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program for low-income and elderly taxpayers. The students will prepare and electronically file federal and state tax returns by appointment, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 16, 23 and March 2, as well as from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, in room 136 of the Unruh and Sheldon Center on the Jamestown College campus.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling 253-4468. If there is no answer, callers are asked to leave a message and the call will be returned. Appointments can also be made by sending email to vita@jc.edu.
