Cancer support group meeting set

The Help for Hope and Healing Cancer Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the St. John’s Lutheran Church lounge, 424 First Ave. S.

Brittany Berg, third-year medical student at the University or North Dakota specializing in dermatology, will be discussing the most common types of skin cancers and the importance of early detection. She will review the ABCD’s of moles and melanoma, a learning tool used by health care providers to evaluate skin lesions.

Help for Hope and Healing is a branch of the Jamestown Area Grief Support Team that deals with meeting the practical needs of cancer patients and their families. This group is free and open to everyone. For more information, visit the website www.jamestowncancersupport.org.
