The Jimmies (22-5) were ranked 13th but fell to 18th with a loss to unranked Valley City State, though the Vikings are receiving votes. Moving up in North Dakota was Mayville State, which improved three spots to 15th.
Indiana Wesleyan continued its reign at the top, receiving six first-place votes with a 26-2 record.
Valley City State is the only men's team in the state to make the poll and it dropped one spot to 20th after losing to Jamestown College in overtime. The Vikings are 20-6.
The Jimmies host Dakota State in a doubleheader in their final home regular-season action today, set for 5:30 p.m. They go to Mayville State on Sunday before hosting the A.I.I. tournament Feb. 22-24 at the Civic Center.
