Stranded UND hockey team makes it home

The University of North Dakota hockey team is back home in Grand Forks, after being stranded in South Dakota over the weekend because of a blizzard.

GRAND FORKS (AP) — The University of North Dakota hockey team is back home in Grand Forks, after being stranded in South Dakota over the weekend because of a blizzard.

The team was traveling back from Omaha, Neb., and was forced to stop at a truck stop near the northeastern South Dakota town of Summit early Sunday. The team spent the rest of the night on the bus, then checked into a hotel in Sisseton later in the day.
