A Jamestown man was cited following an accident that caused an estimated $10,000 in damage, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened around noon on Feb. 5 at five mile corner on North Dakota Highway 20.
Cody Johnson, 18, 185 Camp Rokiwan Rd., was driving a 2000 Pontiac northbound on Highway 20, when he was going too fast for conditions and failed to negotiate the curve, according to the accident narrative. It said blowing snow made the roadway slippery.
There were no injuries and Johnson was wearing a seat belt.
There was an estimated $10,000 in damage to the Pontiac.
Johnson was cited for care required.
