Jimmies lead Dakota St. at halftme

In the final home doubleheader of the season, the Jamestown College women's basketball leads Dakota State 37-28 at halftime.

The Jimmies (22-5) led 16-2 to start the game. Dakota State got within 27-23, but has not lead.

Bridget Schuneman has 10 points to lead JC. Kayla Roemmich has eight.

The Jimmies, ranked 18th in the NAIA, close out the regular season on Sunday at Mayville State.

Jamestown College hosts the Association of Independent Institutions Tournament Feb. 22-24 at the Civic Center. The Jimmies or 15th-ranked Mayville State will be the No. 1 seed. The two teams that advance to the championship game advance to nationals next month in Sioux City, Iowa.

The men's game follows tonight at 7:30 p.m.
