No injuries in two-car crash

Winter weather played a role in a two-vehicle Wednesday accident, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast.
Cindy Oakland, 57, 410 Glendwood Ave., was driving a 2005 Ford passenger car southbound on Fifth Avenue in the 1200 block and going around a curve in the inside lane.
Paul Zenker, 28, Fargo, was driving a 2001 General Motors vehicle southbound going around the curve on the outside lane.
Oakland’s vehicle slid on ice and compacted snow, entered the outside lane and struck Zenker.
There was an estimated $3,000 in damage each to the Ford and General Motors vehicle.
No injuries were reported and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
No citations were issued.
