FUMC celebrates season of Lent
On Wednesday evenings during Lent First United Methodist Church will have a meal at 6 p.m. followed by a short informal worship service.
On Wednesday evenings during Lent First United Methodist Church will have a meal at 6 p.m. followed by a short informal worship service.
The informal worship service will feature the Adam Hamilton video series titled “The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.”
Wednesday evening meals and worship begin on Feb. 20 and run for five Wednesday evenings.
Holy Week worship services at First UMC are as follows: Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m., Good Friday at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11 a.m.
First United Methodist Church is located downtown between Jamestown Middle School and Alfred Dickey Library.
