FCUCC serves Lenten lunches

First Congregational United Church of Christ, 201 Second St. SE, Jamestown, will present free Lenten lunches at 11:30 a.m. beginning Wednesday and continuing each Wednesday through March 20.

In keeping with the traditions of Lent, lunch will be light: a bowl of soup and bread.

After lunch, the Rev. Martin Nussbaum will lead a study of the Lord’s Prayer, focusing on the spiritual meaning behind the words. The public is invited.
