Fundraiser for hospital beginning

GRAND FORKS — The second annual Miracle Maker Radiothon that raises money for Sanford Children’s Hospital Fargo starts today.
Radio stations Cat Country (100.3 FM) and XL93 (92.9 FM) hope to raise money by broadcasting the radiothon 24 hours a day through Tuesday.
Donations can be made by calling the Miracle Maker Hotline at 701-757-3300; online at sanfordhealth.org; in person at the Sanford East Grand Forks Clinic, 621 DeMers Avenue, East Grand Forks, Minn.
On-air personalities will broadcast live from Sanford East Grand Forks and folks are encouraged to participate by calling in or stopping by to share their stories.
Children from Fargo, Horace, Grand Forks, Langdon, Devils Lake, Finley and Larimore in North Dakota and Frazee, East Grand Forks, Warroad, Thief River Falls and Ada in Minnesota will be featured during the event.
Money raised will support special programs, purchase medical equipment and fund research and education for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which locally benefits Sanford Children’s Hospital Fargo.
