GRAND FORKS (AP) — The North Dakota Supreme Court has ruled that a Grand Forks attorney is incapacitated and cannot practice law.

The Grand Forks Herald reported that Lee R. Finstad applied for incapacitated status Thursday. He said he experiences anxiety, thoughts about Vietnam and flashbacks. He said this has resulted in his being unable to practice law.

The court granted Finstad’s request and ordered that his clients be notified.

Finstad specialized in veterans’ issues and served briefly as veterans’ service officer for Grand Forks County. The county commission terminated him in September.
