To submit an activity, email it to ksteiner@jamestownsun.com — with “Calendar” in the subject line — or fax to 701-952-8477. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Commercial events (those meant to earn a profit for a business) will not be accepted for this calendar.

Monday, Feb. 18

Special events

“Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World,” film showing at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. with discussions following, in Level 2, Nafus Student Center (Westminster), Jamestown College. Film presents the stories behind masterworks of Islamic art and architecture. No admission charge.

Public meeting

Jamestown Public School Board, 5:15 p.m., Thompson Community Room, 203 Second Ave. SE.
