Interstate reopened between Jamestown and Valley City; no travel still advised
The North Dakota Department of Transportation closed Interstate 94 between Jamestown and Valley City due to a multi-vehicle accident at mile marker 265 Monday morning. The North Dakota Department of Transportation closed Interstate 94 between Jamestown and Valley City due to a multi-vehicle accident at mile marker 265 Monday morning. It reopened the westbound lane at about 1:30 p.m. and reopened the eastbound lanes at about 3:20 p.m.
Ambulances and wreckers were dispatched to the scene Monday morning. Reports from officers on the scene monitored on scanners report zero visibility with snow and blowing snow.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation has a no travel advisory in place for the Jamestown and Valley City areas.
