Woman arrested in knife assault case
Police in Fargo have arrested a woman after she allegedly assaulted a male acquaintance with a butter knife. The Forum reported that authorities responded to a call about 4 a.m. Tuesday about a woman with a knife at an apartment.
FARGO (AP) — Police in Fargo have arrested a woman after she allegedly assaulted a male acquaintance with a butter knife.
The Forum reported that authorities responded to a call about 4 a.m. Tuesday about a woman with a knife at an apartment.
Lt. Joel Vettel said the 25-year-old woman allegedly grabbed a large knife and went after the man, but was tackled by others inside the apartment. She then reportedly grabbed a butter knife and assaulted the man.
Vettel said the man had a small abrasion and a bruise that didn’t required medical attention.
The woman was arrested on an aggravated assault charge and taken to the Cass County Jail.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the alleged assault.
