CNA Skills Training Class scheduled

A CNA Skills Training Class is scheduled this month at James Valley Career and Technology Center.

This 18-hour curriculum is open to anyone 16 years of age or older interested in becoming a certified nurse’s assistant. The class teaches the basic hands-on skills needed to challenge that part of the CNA test. Some independent study is required to pass the written portion of the test. All materials needed for study are available.

The next class begins on Monday and runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Feb. 25-26 and 28) that week and on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, March 4-5 and 7 the second week with testing on March 12. The cost of the class is $100.
