DES LACS, N.D. (AP) — Fire officials in Des Lacs say a house has been destroyed by fire but no one was injured.
The remains of the house on Second Avenue South were still smoldering on Tuesday.
Des Lacs fire chief Mark Norby tells the Minot Daily News that the fire was called in Monday morning. Crews remained at the site until 7 or 8 p.m. Monday to make sure the fire did not spread to surrounding structures.
Investigators have not yet determined a cause.
Officials say the residents are believed to be staying with relatives in Minot.
