Torri Kamlitz scored the first and last goals, while Amber Schaack and Steph Kamlitz also tallied as Jamestown advanced to the semifinals of the state hockey tournament for the first time in school history with a 4-2 win over Fargo South-Davies on Thursday at Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.

The Blue Jays never trailed as Torri Kamlitz made it 1-0 in the opening period. She added an empty-netter in the third to ice it.

Carissa Finck stopped all but one of the shots she faced in goal as the Blue Jays improved to 19-6. It was their first win over South-Davies.

Jamestown faces No. 1 seed West Fargo in the semifinals on Friday at noon. It's the first time the JHS girls will play on the main rink Engelstad arena.
