One person was possibly injured after a three-car accident Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of First Avenue North and Fourth Street Northwest.

Judith Johnson, 70, 714 Eighth Ave. NW, was driving a 2003 Toyota car northbound on First Avenue and entered the intersection of Fourth Street while the light was red.

Jeremy Schiele, 40, 2205 Fourth St. NE, was driving a 2002 Pontiac car eastbound through the intersection,

Cole Krebsbach, 17, Jamestown was driving a 1999 Volkswagen car, stopped at the intersection facing westbound.

Johnson struck Schiele, who then struck Krebsbach.

Johnson cited a possible injury and was not transported to the hospital. She was wearing a seat belt. Schiele and Kresbach were also wearing seat belts and did not report any injuries.

Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Toyota, $2,000 to Pontiac, and $1,500 to the Volkswagen.

Johnson was cited for disobey a steady red signal.
