GRAND FORKS – West Fargo defeated Jamestown 7-2 in the semifinals of the North Dakota state girls hockey tournament on Friday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The top-seeded Packers (23-1-0) advance to the state championship game set for 5 p.m. on Saturday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
It is West Fargo’s first trip to the state finals since 2011. West Fargo holds a 1-2 all-time record in the finals and won a state championship in 2010.
