Chris Olson has joined The Sun as a staff writer.

Olson, from Traverse City, Mich., is a graduate of Michigan State University, E. Lansing, Mich., with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.

He previously worked as a staff writer at the Leelanau Enterprise and the Gaylord Herald Times, two weekly newspapers in Michigan.

As a staff writer at The Sun, Olson will report on stories using multimedia and social media to connect with readers.
