Weatherly is JRCC employee of month

Correctional Officer Michael Weatherly was chosen as employee of the month of January for the James River Correctional Center. Weatherly started working at JRCC as a food service staff member

Correctional Officer Michael Weatherly was chosen as employee of the month of January for the James River Correctional Center. Weatherly started working at JRCC as a food service staff member. He moved into a security position and has been active in the DOCR Honor Guard and Special Operations Response Team. Officials said Weatherly has a positive attitude, is security minded, does his job correctly and is able to deal with crisis situations.

Weatherly received the award due to his positive attitude, work ethic and contributions to the JRCC.
