The Trojans outscored the 23rd-ranked Vikings 39-30 in the second half to rally for a 58-53 win in a defensive

grinder in semifinal play of the A.I.I. tournament at the Civic Center.

The Vikings are likely, but not guaranteed to get an at-large bid into nationals. They had chances to finish

off the 21-9 Trojans, but they missed nine free throws and turned it over 16 times.

John and Luke Lamb each had 13 points to lead Dakota State, which won despite shooting just 38.6 percent.

Aaron Duske and A.J. McDonald paced the Vikings with 10 points each. Sekani Milligen was held to eight points,

10 under his average.
