JC baseball team splits opener

The Jamestown College baseball team split its season-opening doubleheader at the Metrodome late Friday night.

The Jamestown College baseball team split its season-opening doubleheader at the Metrodome late Friday night.

St. Ambrose of Iowa won the first game 4-1, but the Jimmies bounced back to win the nightcap 12-3 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

The two teams play again twice Saturday night with the doubleheader beginning at 8:30.
