Schaack, Finck earn all-state honors
Two Jamestown High School girls have been named to the all-state hockey team. Miss Hockey award winner Amber Schaack and goalie Carissa Finck were chosen from the Blue Jays.
Two Jamestown High School girls have been named to the all-state hockey team.
Miss Hockey award winner Amber Schaack and goalie Carissa Finck were chosen from the Blue Jays.
Schaack had 41 goals and 11 assists for the Blue Jays, who finished 18-8 and placed fourth at the state tournament in Grand Forks last weekend.
Finck, also a senior, had 639 saves and 2.63 goals-against average.
All-state team

Defense: Shelby Brossart, Jr., Grand Forks; Amber Schaack, Sr., Jamestown; Tori Holland, Jr., West Fargo; Kourtney Lothspeich, Jr., West Fargo.
Forwards: Nicole Novak, Sr., Grand Forks; Hayley Walsh, Sr., West Fargo; Allison Springer, Jr., West Fargo; Brianna Flynn, Sr., Bismarck; Alex Woken, Fr., Fargo South-Davies; Kelly Krahn, Jr., West Fargo.
